A synthesis of various theories of a new moral-ethical order arising out of the 1960's is presented. The ethics of the under-35 population is seen as one centering on: (1) ecological perspectives (people as part of a natural world) and (2) self-realization (education, work, and leisure for the purpose of developing selfhood).
