During the 1976-77 school year, questionnaires were sent to the 297 teachers employed by the Yukon Territorial Government. Questionnaires were received from 209 teachers (76 percent rural and 67 percent urban). Findings indicated that rural teachers were significantly less satisfied than urban teachers on nine aspects of their teaching and employment conditions. (NQ)
