Design and Development of an AI Education Program for Young Learners: A Case Study

This study introduces a case of developing and piloting a tailored education program on AI education for beginner-level learners using machine learning platforms such as Google Teachable Machine and Scratch. The program was piloted with 27 elementary school students. Learning effects and satisfaction were examined during the pilot phase. The results suggested that the AI education program had high potential usability, positive learning outcomes, and high satisfaction. Overall, this research paper discusses the development of the AI education program based on relevant literature and the pilot study to evaluate its potential usability in K-12. The study used both quantitative and qualitative responses from the learners.
