A Framework for the Heart-Orientation Dimension of Worldview
Rob Lindemann; Katherine G. Schultz
Journal of Research on Christian Education, v33 n1-2 p19-39 2024
The idea of the heart-orientation dimension of worldview has been in the literature for over two decades but it lacks the conceptual refinement of the propositional and behavioral dimensions. The authors argue for distinct parameters within the heart-orientation dimension of a worldview which currently do not exist in the literature. A conceptual research methodology identified the parameters within this dimension across three major worldviews. The data produced four parameters providing a further view into the heart-orientation dimension of worldview: worship, embodiment, symbols, and rituals.
