Researchers have examined the perceptions of K-12 teachers about their teaching and professional experiences during the pandemic and have found that teachers thought they had not received adequate training for remote teaching or proper professional development for online education. Motivated by Rolling's (2010) suggestion, "So, researchers, tell your stories. Teachers, reflect on your stories," three art educators' recount their personal and professional journeys during the pandemic, exploring their transition to online instruction and how they were able to utilize online tools effectively to facilitate student learning. They share their narratives, which thematically focus on: (1) the transition to online instruction--institutional support and professional development; and (2) instructional strategies. The article ends by enumerating some takeaways and challenges to share with other art educators.
