Making the Transfer Path to a Bachelor's Degree Seamless and Successful: Best Practices
Knepfle, Chuck; McCaskill, Rock
Strategic Enrollment Management Quarterly, v10 n1 p29-34 Apr 2022
Many factors, including free two-year college commitments in states like New York, Tennessee, and Oregon, have led to increases in students attending two-year schools with the ultimate goal of graduating with a bachelor's degree. Bachelor's degree granting institutions should, and arguably have an obligation to, make that transition as seamless as possible. This paper explores best practices around the country for minimizing the barriers for students who transition from two-year to four-year institutions.
