Teaching University Physics Courses during the Coronavirus Pandemic (COVID-19)
Mali, Petar
Physics Teacher, v59 n6 p414-416 Sep 2021
The pandemic caused by COVID-19 has induced health emergencies followed by changes in social life and education. The transition to online teaching might be harder or easier depending on the situation in a particular country, as well as on the curriculum of teaching subjects and teaching methods that are used. In this paper the methods used in summer semester of 2020 at the University of Novi Sad are presented. For teaching different theoretical physics courses, the Discord platform and graphics tablet have been used. This analysis shows that although online teaching in this form may not be a suitable replacement, it has certain advantages compared to standard classroom teaching.
