Dr. Derrick Gay is an internationally recognized expert on diversity, inclusion, and global citizenship, who consults with organizations around the world. In fall 2017, he engaged the American Montessori Society (AMS) Board of Directors in a full day of professional development, work that will continue at the board's spring 2019 meeting. Gay has also worked with many Montessori schools throughout the country. In addition to his expertise, his affable, thoughtful personality serves as an inviting entrée into the complex world of human interactions. In this interview, Gay shares his thoughts on the topics of diversity, inclusion, and global citizenship.
