I explore my journey of creating my digital testimonios and how this intellectual, emotional, spiritual, and aesthetic process has aided in my healing journey. Throughout this process I illuminate the emotional labor that goes into creating these tools of healing by sharing personal experiences of trauma. Through my experiences, I demonstrate that the process of creating digital testimonios is one of great reflection that allows the creator to sit with their testimonio to find a combination of mediums to communicate their voice. This mix of expressions ultimately allows space for full autonomy for the storyteller/testimoniadora to create a digital testimonio that is reflective of their experiences.
