The Use of Mobile Learning in Grades K-12: A Literature Review of Current Trends and Practices

This article presents a literature review of mobile learning (m-learning) in the K-12 classroom and explores the impact of tablets in primary education. Additionally, it shows the impact of mobile learning on K-12 online learning as well as the need for professional development of educators utilizing mobile technologies. Further, the article reviews challenges with m-learning and provides potential recommendations and guidelines for utilizing mobile technologies in the future of educational curriculum development.
