A discussion of impulse control among children in the primary grades based on many years of practice at the Yale University Child Study Center Nursery School, four inner city pre-kindergarten programs, and several inner city primary schools; the analysis of a number of impulse ridden children; and, several research projects on impulsivity in culturally deprived children.
