Discussed are three problems for clinicians to consider when using temporal integration data for diagnostic purposes with the aurally handicapped. Problems stem from evidence that integration time depends on frequency, that an individual can vary considerably on repeated measurements, and that integration time can differ with different psychophysical procedures.
