The purpose of this case study was to evaluate how community college IT students interact with and succeed in virtual labs to determine the impact of these digital environments on learning outcomes. The research employed a comprehensive range of data collection methods, including pre-interview questionnaires, interviews, and observations, to gather in-depth insights from students. The results yielded key themes such as the effectiveness of virtual labs in developing technical skills, levels of student engagement, and the challenges encountered during virtual lab activities, ensuring the reliability and thoroughness of the research. These findings reaffirm the benefits of virtual labs, instilling confidence in their potential to enhance learning outcomes. This highlights the crucial role of institutions and educators in providing the necessary support and guidance for students to excel in technology. The study emphasized virtual labs' essential role in modern IT education and provides unique and valuable recommendations for educators and institutions to optimize these platforms. By addressing the identified challenges and leveraging effective strategies, the research significantly contributes to a better understanding of how virtual labs can be successfully integrated into community college IT programs to boost student engagement and academic success.
