Using the methodological framework of "testimonio," this study was an exploration of the experiences of former higher education professionals who identify as women in the Latinx community. Grounded in Latino Critical Theory (LatCrit) and Critical Race Feminism (CRF), this research aims to highlight the narratives of Latina professionals who have separated from the higher education sector. The study is informed by the conceptual framework of Chicana feminist perspective, which contextualizes the analysis of these experiences within a socio-cultural context. Using semi-structured interviews, participants shared their testimonios, providing rich accounts of their journeys and challenges within higher education. Through thematic analysis guided by testimonio methodology, this study explores the reasons behind their departure and sheds light on the institutional behaviors, systemic barriers, and cultural fabric faced by Latina professionals. The primary focus of this research was to unsilence the experiences among former higher education professionals, emphasizing the intersectional challenges faced by women within the Latinx community. By amplifying their voices and testimonios, this study seeks to contribute to a deeper understanding of the dynamics at play within higher education institutions and inform future practices and policies to support Latinas in higher education. Through the examination of testimonios, this research underscores the importance of centering marginalized voices and experiences. This study aims to provide insights that can inform institutional praxis and pave the way for greater inclusivity and equity for Latina professionals.
