This quantitative research study used correlational statistics to explore if a relationship exists between compassion satisfaction and compassion fatigue levels in 6-8 educators and their decision to remain in the teaching profession. Data were collected using the ProQOL survey as the main instrumentation. Participants were recruited using social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter. Upon receipt, data was analyzed using a binary logistic regression method to explore if a relationship existed between the independent and dependent variables. The major findings of this study concluded that most of the independent associations tested were weak, proving that an association only exists with the compassion satisfaction levels of educators regarding teacher tenure. In addition, two of the three null hypotheses were accepted, and one was rejected. [The dissertation citations contained here are published with the permission of ProQuest LLC.
