Primary and secondary teachers in the United States are the most vital role in the education system yet they commonly experience burnout and low morale. This study examined the relationship between teacher self-care, burnout, and morale. Primarily, the study ascertained the educator's level of self-care and weather that level shared a positive or negative correlation with both burnout and work morale. The study results showed that teachers with a high level of self-care, predominantly had a low level or burnout and high morale. Unfortunately, the reverse is also reported, educators with a low level of self-care, present a higher level of burnout and lower morale. Emotional exhaustion was identified as the most significant level of burnout for those educators with low self-care.
