ProQuest LLC, Ed.D. Dissertation, Edgewood College
This paper offers an investigation of the perceptions of servant leadership behaviors by subordinates and the effects that those perceptions may have on the subordinate engagement and turnover intention within a higher education institution. Perceived servant leadership behaviors can induce positive attitudes and engagement in the subordinate impacting turnover intention in Universities and Colleges. The primary research question focused on positive and negative perceptions employees held related to supervisors' leadership behaviors. The data collection was derived from an online survey for higher education employees. [The dissertation citations contained here are published with the permission of ProQuest LLC.
