Quinones, Sunamy
ProQuest LLC, Ph.D. Dissertation, Keiser University
This study was an investigation of the moderating relationship between emotional intelligence, job satisfaction, and the level of remote work among teachers from K-12, including higher education teachers. A total of 292 participants (N = 292) were recruited through social media platforms and Amazon Mechanical Turk. Participants completed a questionnaire for each of the key variables under investigation. Data analysis indicated that individuals with higher levels of emotional intelligence had higher levels of job satisfaction. Moreover, there was no significant moderating interaction between emotional intelligence, job satisfaction, and the level of remote work. Further research is needed to understand and solidify the relationship between all variables within the education field.
