Consider Teachers Act of 2021 (Public Law 117-49)

The Consider Teachers Act of 2021 was put in place to amend the Higher Education Act of 1965 in order to improve the service obligation verification process for TEACH Grant recipients, and for other purposes. The Act includes the following sections: (1) Short Title; (2) Teach Grants; (3) Submission of Employment Certification; (4) Extension of Time to Fulfill Service Obligations Due to COVID-19; and (5) Implementation.
