Graduate and/or Professional Level Strategic Enrollment Management: Results of the April 2022 60-Second Survey

The purpose of April 2022 60-Second Survey was to perform initial research on enrollment management at the graduate and/or professional level. This data will serve as a benchmark and may shape content for a comprehensive research study. Based on this sample, institutions face a profusion of strategic enrollment challenges associated with graduate and/or professional-level programs. The challenges often mirror those reported at the undergraduate level. In addition, there is no dominant model for where the primary responsibility for graduate and/or professional-level enrollment management resides within the institution. After data cleaning, there are 340 responses. Of those, 331 are in the United States with representation from 46 states and the District of Columbia; seven are in Canada with representation from four provinces; one in Armenia and one in Switzerland. Eighty-four percent of the offices represented serve both undergraduate and graduate/professional students. Data are displayed in aggregate figures. Institutional details of control, size, and type are included in Appendix A.
