This report focuses on the percentages of graduates and dropouts in the Miami-Dade County Public Schools when broken down by both ethnicity/race and gender. The percentages in outcome categories for this report are based on a four-year adjusted cohort model. For the purposes of this report, students at the end of their four-year high school history were classified into five exhaustive and mutually exclusive categories: (1) adult school attendees; (2) graduates; (3) dropouts; (4) non-graduating completers; and (5) continuing students. A definition of graduate and a definition of dropout is included.
