Forgiveness as a Leadership Trait for School Leaders

The purpose of this study was to investigate forgiveness as a leadership trait. The methodology for this quantitative and qualitative study consisted of electronic surveys and in-depth interviews with elementary and middle school principals. This research explored the effects of revenge and avoidance on school leadership and the possible positive effects forgiveness can have. The basic findings were that forgiveness can lead to better health and wellness for school leaders and has positive influences on the discharge of school leader's duties.
