Mercury and Chemical Management in Schools: An Instructor's Guide for Trainers in Schools in Southeast Asia. EPA 747-R-08-003

This instructor's guide is a tool to help instructors promote the concepts of safe mercury and chemical management in schools. It contains three types of materials: (1) Guidance for the instructor/facilitator on conducting the training course (Section I); (2) A copy of all presentations with talking points as appropriate (Section II); and (3) Instructions for participant activities (Section III). Sections II and III are both arranged according to the four training session topics: (1) Importance of Mercury and Chemical Management for School Administrators and Teachers; (2) Hazardous Chemicals and Equipment in Schools; (3) Policies and Actions for School Administrators and Teachers; and (4) Be Smart About Mercury. The presentation slides (overheads) corresponding with Section II are contained on a CD included with this guide. (Contains 1 table and 2 footnotes.)
