This is the twenty-second edition of the Adult Basic Education (ABE) Articulation Handbook for British Columbia's public postsecondary institutions. The purpose of ABE articulation is to ensure learners have access to quality courses, receive appropriate credits and are able to transfer easily among publicly-funded colleges, university colleges, universities and institutes in British Columbia. Articulation also involves liaison with the school system's ABE programs to facilitate transfer of students back and forth between school district and college ABE programs. This handbook presents ABE programs for adults to develop basic skills and obtain vocational training, adult education, adult training, adult vocational training. The handbook describes the ABE articulation process, program framework, and the the British Columbia Adult Graduation Diploma (a.k.a. the "Adult Dogwood"). The handbook also includes transfer guides for Computer Studies; Education & Career Planning; English; First Nations Range of Courses; Adult Literacy Fundamental (ALF) Level; Mathematics; General & Applied Science; Biology; Chemistry; Physics; and Social Sciences.
