Functionally Approached Body (FAB) Strategies for Young Children Who Have Behavioral and Sensory Processing Challenges
Pagano, John
Online Submission
Functionally Approached Body (FAB) Strategies offer a clinical approach to help parents of young children with behavioral and sensory processing strategies. This article introduces the FAB Strategies, clinical strategies developed by the author for understanding and addressing young children's behavioral and sensory processing challenges. The FAB Strategies are based on the author's training in the positive behavioral support and sensory integration model, experience as an occupational therapy and infant mental health coordinator, and humbling experience of fatherhood. These functional strategies are intended for transdisciplinary use by parents and early intervention professionals with young children who have behavioral and sensory processing challenges.
