Counselors today are presented with a number of differing applications software. This article intends to advance the counselor's knowledge and considerations of the various aspects of application software. Included is a discussion of the software applications typically of help to counselors in (a) managing their work (computer managed counseling); (b) assisting in their work (computer assisted counseling); or (c) actually doing their work (cybercounseling).
