One World: A Race and Culture Activity Pack for Youth Workers.

This activity pack is designed to help youth workers raise young people's awareness of the world by looking beyond stereotypes and assumptions to examine global issues. Eight activities are suggested: (1) "Complete the sentence," an exploration of what the youth group already knows about global concerns; (2) "Match the Meaning," an exploration of terms and definitions; (3) an agree/disagree card game to explore youth attitudes; (4) a multiple choice quiz about world conditions; (5) a poster making session; (6) role play situations for global sensitivity; (7) "Exploring Images, Languages, and Stereotypes"; and (8) "What If It Happened to You?"
