This volume describes federal student financial aid programs that are administered at the state level. Students must meet state eligibility criteria to receive assistance or benefits from these programs. The state grant programs are: (1) Leveraging Educational Assistance Partnership (LEAP) Program; (2) Special Leveraging Educational Assistance Partnership; (3) Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship Program; and (4) Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP).
