This report presents data tables on fall 1998 enrollment at Minnesota's public and private postsecondary education institutions. An introduction and glossary precede the main body of the report, which has four parts: (1) five-year summaries for each institution, including total enrolment, full- and part-time enrollments, male and female enrollments, new entering student enrollments, and totals by type of institution; (2) residence data, including county of residence for new entering students and residency by state or foreign country for out-of-state students; (3) data on participation in postsecondary education, including participation rates of 1998 Minnesota high school graduates, distribution of Minnesota new entering students by year of high school graduation, and participation ratios by county of new entering students who graduated from high school in 1998 to all 1998 high school graduates; and (4) enrollment data for each institution, summarized by level of study, gender, full- or part-time attendance, and racial/ethnic background.
