This text teaches students about money management and is designed to help the student as he or she tries to live within limits and decide important financial questions. Students are instructed about: getting control of your money; tracking your spending; figuring your income and expenses; making your spending plan balance; making money decisions; checking accounts; balancing your checkbook; savings accounts; why use credit?; getting credit; credit cards and loans; do you have too much debt?; dealing with debt; insurance; and investing. Addresses and/or telephone numbers of eight sources of additional information are listed. The workbook consists of 11 activities that provide students with practice in applying the information to their own situations.
