This document presents the five-year (2000-2004) strategic plans submitted to Mississippi's Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning by the state's nine state universities and system administration. Introductory information includes a statement of the board's mission and goals, a list of FY (fiscal year) 2000 system budget categories and priorities, a state map showing public university locations, and the board's organizational chart. The main body of the report is comprised of executive summaries of the five-year strategic plans submitted by each of the state's public universities. These are: Alcorn State University, Delta State University, Jackson State University, Mississippi State University, Mississippi University for Women, Mississippi Valley State University, the University of Mississippi, the University of Mississippi Medical Center, and the University of Southern Mississippi. Also included is an executive summary of the five-year strategic plan proposed by the system administration office. (DB)
