This curriculum guide was developed to help teachers in Texas provide training in occupational-related agricultural education to persons both in groups and on the job. The guide is organized in 33 sections. The first section covers group instruction with the remaining sections covering the following occupational titles: farm equipment operator; agricultural construction and maintenance employee; soil management employee; irrigation equipment sales and service; dairy farm worker, ranch employee; poultry farm worker; meat processing plant employee; veterinary assistant; agricultural chemicals sales and service employee; horticultural occupations; wildlife conservation employee; and poultry processing plant employee. Each section consists of an introduction and a list of essential elements, a curriculum outline listing units and topics of instruction, and a supplementary list of references. (KC)
