This report provides enrollment data for Colorado public postsecondary educational institutions, independent (private, non-profit) institutions, proprietary institutions, and the United States Air Force Academy, for 1992 and compares these figures to those of recent years (since at least 1988). Enrollment is reported by headcount (the actual number of students who enrolled, regardless of the number of classes in which they enrolled), and by full-time equivalent (FTE--a calculation of the total number of student credit hours divided by the number of hours equivalent to a full-time student courseload). Enrollment is also reported by individual institution, by governing board, and by type of institution. And finally, FTE enrollment is reported by in-state, out-of-state, and by undergraduate and graduate level of instruction. Reported data are derived from annual institutional reports to the Colorado Commission on Higher Education, and the National Center for Educational Statistics. (GLR)
