This report provides certain financial data on the school jurisdictions of Alberta (Canada). Consisting entirely of statistical tables except for a brief foreword, the report contains assessment and requisition data, student-teacher ratios, and unsupported debt and financial statement data. Information is presented for the 1988-89 school year or 1989 calendar fiscal year. Public and private schools are included. The first three sections of the report, which show all divisions, counties, and districts on the same school or calendar year and include a provincial total, focus on: (1) assessments and requisitions (government support); (2) student-teacher ratios; and (3) unsupported debenture/capital loan debt expressed as an adjusted rate. The fourth section contains financial statement data from 30 divisions, 138 districts (38 public, 92 Catholic, and 8 other), and 30 counties. (SLD)
