This catalog provides a worker-based description of duties, tasks, performance objectives and guides, and related data for physical therapy occupations. Duties covered include the following: (1) performing administrative/clerical functions; (2) communicating information; (3) providing patient care services; (4) performing support service; (5) performing patient and care plan assessment; (6) performing physical therapy treatments; (7) providing psychosocial care; and (8) continuing education. Each performance objective contains a task, and each task is further divided into a series of subtasks, or performance objectives, for each of which a standard of performance, conditions for performance, performance guide, and source of standard are provided.
