Designed to assist technical assistance center staff members and other inservice providers, this workshop leader's guide contains step-by-step procedures for preparing, organizing, and presenting a one-hour workshop on advanced skills for teachers, administrators, and others associated with Chapter 1 programs. Sections of the guide include: (1) an introduction, "getting started," and a workshop outline; (2) blackline masters for the participant handouts and overhead transparencies referred to in the workshop outline; (3) a brief overview of advanced skill topics; (4) resource articles and support materials including additional activities and suggestions; and (5) a 170-item bibliography of additional sources of information.
