This bibliography is based on a collection at Manitoba's Multiculture Educational Resource Center and contains materials appropriate for the teaching of a number of languages other than French, English, and Canadian native languages. The focus is on heritage language teaching, but some titles pertain to the history and culture of the various language groups included in the bibliography. Citations are for kits, works of fiction, references, audio recordings, and video recordings, and are organized by language group, including: Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, Filipino, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Icelandic, Italian, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Lao, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese. An additional section on heritage language teaching methodology is included. Each citation includes basic bibliographic information and, in most cases, a brief annotation. (MSE)
