A statistical profile of Germanna Community College is presented, providing enrollment data for summer 1988, fall 1988, and spring 1989. The report is divided into five sections. Section 1 provides cumulative data for 1981 through 1988 on enrollment by term, including headcount and full-time equivalent (FTE) figures; and gender, full-/part-time, day/night, racial, and on-/off-campus breakdowns. Section 2 includes the following statistics compiled for the 1988-89 academic year: (1) applications and enrollments; (2) educational objectives of unclassified students; (3) credit hours enrolled; (4) student age and average age; (5) enrollment classification by student type, sex, time, race, and in-state or out-of-state residency; (6) credit hours enrolled by campus, program, and time; (7) program enrollments by student type, sex, year, and student attendance; (8) enrollment by major curriculum area; (9) FTE by curriculum; (10) enrollment by time and status by residence; (11) FTE by residence; (12) enrollment by course prefix; (13) class sections offered; (14) off-campus details; and (15) awards and graduates. Section 3 contains unduplicated headcount data by curriculum, race, residence, and age. Section 4 offers comparisons with other colleges in the Virginia community college system in terms of ranked populations, ranked headcounts, comparative penetration rates, ranked penetration rates, penetration rate calculation estimates, and service region enrollments. Finally, section 5 presents graphs illustrating GCC's enrollment history, fall versus spring headcounts, full-time versus part-time enrollments by term, headcount versus FTE for fall and spring terms, and enrollment by age.
