This statistical supplement contains information on student enrollments, faculty, semester credit hours, physical facilities, appropriations, and student loan and grant programs for Texas community junior colleges and technical institutes. The enrollment section provides a 5-year summary of headcount enrollments for 1984 to 1988 for all segments of higher education in Texas and enrollment totals by institution for the state's two-year colleges. Next, fall 1988 headcount enrollments are reported by ethnic origin, sex, and class standing. The final tables in this section present enrollments by resident/non-resident status and by county and state of origin. The section containing faculty data provides statistics by rank, ethnicity, and sex, and includes full-time faculty salaries. The next section breaks down semester credit hour enrollments by program for fall 1988. The fourth section focuses on physical plant, detailing investments and net assignable facilities space by function. In the next section, legislative appropriations for fiscal years 1990 and 1991 are presented by college.
