The Working Citizen module begins with an overview describing goal; overall nature of the module and of the four major topics within the module; skills, knowledge, and behaviors to be developed; provision for special populations; youth leadership skills to be fostered; and equity and excellence requirements. This is followed by a content outline and a set of instructional guidelines for the four major topics (business in today's society; employment: a personal perspective; on the job; and the job-selection process). The Personal Resource Management module also consists of an overview, a content outline, and the following topics: your resources and your life, management of human resources, and management of economic resources. Each topic includes performance objectives/supporting competencies and suggested instructional strategies, such as case problems, worksheets, and learning activities. (KC)
