Montana's Growing and Declining Industries and Occupations 1986-1995.
Montana State Dept. of Labor and Industry, Helena.
Montana's industries are projected to employ 35,880 more wage and salary workers by 1995 than in 1986. If these employment projections hold true, there will be an average growth rate of about 1.5 percent per year in the state. Most of the employment growth projected to 1995 by the Montana Department of Labor and Industry will be in the service industries. Using state and national labor statistics, the report contains information about the following: (1) growing and declining industries; (2) growing and declining occupations; and (3) occupational profiles. Tables show industry employment projections and occupational employment projections. A list of career reference materials is provided. (KC)
