Prepared on behalf of the Emphasis on Excellence (Honors) Program for students interested in transferring from Miami-Dade Community College to a four-year institution, this booklet offers an annotated list of 154 transfer scholarships, based on information received from 103 colleges, universities, and foundations as of October 1987. Introductory material offers general guidelines for submitting admissions and financial aid applications. Next, the six main sections of the brochure provide: (1) a scholarship calendar, including important deadline information; (2) a list of scholarships awarded by universities; (3) a list of scholarships awarded by foundations; (4) additional scholarships and information; (5) scholarships awarded by Miami-Dade Community College; and (6) graduate study scholarships and information. For each scholarship award, the following information is provided: the dollar amount and number of awards given, the award criteria, and application procedures. (EJV)
