Information for the 1985-86 school year is presented along with information beginning with the reference or base year of 1969-70. The reference year may vary due to the availability of data. The data are presented in tabular format, with state summaries followed by district summaries, on the following topics: state expenditures, enrollment, revenue, expenditures, salary, staff, remedial/compensatory, vocational, Chapter 1 (Title 1), migrants, dropouts, basic skills assessment, statewide testing program, cognitive skills assessment, transportation, school food program, adult education enrollment, graduates, SAT scores, instructional television and radio, and the 10 largest and 10 smallest school districts. The names of state board of education members and of school district superintendents are on the report's inside covers. The appendices contain state department of education staff positions, an organizational chart of the state K-12 administration, a map outline of the 46 counties encompassing 92 school districts in the state, and a 24-item bibliography.
