Teachers willing to research available funding sources and prepare a detailed and comprehensive grant proposal may find themselves on the threshold of many successful grantsmanship adventures. Obtaining grant moneys can mean implementation of innovative ideas that normal budgeting can not provide for. Information is presented regarding: (1) the availability of grants for teachers; (2) the grant proposal process; (3) a sample grant proposal; and (4) resources for teachers wishing to apply for grants.
