This manual presents fourth through sixth grade physical education instructional units and descriptions of learning activities for dance, educational games, and gymnastics for grades 4 to 6. The first section of the manual presents information on incorporating the concept of progression in planning curricula for students. Suggestions are given for dividing a unit into lessons and lesson planning. The second section presents the instructional units, divided by grade level and subject. Each unit provides information on unit focus, length of unit, motor content, student objectives, equipment needed, and learning experiences. (CB)
