In part 3, "Perspectives on the Development of Leaders," Pat Burke Guild emphasizes that vision and purpose constitute leadership's foremost aspect. Linda Tinelli Sheive and Marian Beauchamp Schoenheit apply a five-year study to construct a reference frame for effective leadership. Thomas F. Green stresses that leaders determine the norms and conscience of numerous memberships. The diverse aggregate of research, theory, and experience as an intricate whole is interpreted by Thomas J.
