This bibliography of materials on domestic violence and child abuse available in the Robert E. Kennedy Library at California Polytechnic State University is divided into sections by type of abuse, with sections on family violence, child abuse, emotional child abuse, incest and sexual abuse of children, the child-abusing mother, infant abuse, wife beating, and elder abuse. Other sections contain materials on Parents Anonymous, foster homes, counseling and treatment, shelters, the school's role in child abuse, measurement tools, services, literature reviews, and materials for children. The bibliography includes both print and non-print materials with emphasis on books and journal articles. The information covers the period 1976-1985, and is organized alphabetically by author or title within each section. A listing of local, state, and national organizations concerned with family violence is included. Journals and printed abstracts covering child abuse and family violence are also listed. (ABL)
