Interdisciplinary Course in Intercultural Communication: Grant Proposal Syllabus Course Materials, Test Instruments, and Evaluation.
Crawford, Barbara L.
An experimental, interdisciplinary, mastery learning course in intercultural communication--designed to help students at Santa Barbara (California) City College overcome barriers arising from language, attitudinal, nonverbal, and ethnocentric variations in communication styles--is described in this collection of documents. The collection includes the original grant proposal through which funds were obtained to design and teach the course, a course syllabus, a course study guide, test instruments, advertising flyers, and a course evaluation and final report to the California Community Colleges Fund for Instructional Improvement, which funded the project.
