Electronics Worksite Training Using Interactive-Video Instruction. Adopter's Guide.
Portland Community Coll., OR.
This guide is intended to provide a prospective user of interactive video instruction with a guide to the establishment and operation of an electronics worksite training program. The training program is designed to provide beginning electronics technician training equivalent to that available at most community colleges and technical schools. The instructional program is based on an interactive video electronics course developed at the College of San Mateo. The course is self-paced and computer-based, facilitating open entry/open exit, individualized, and flexible training. The guide provides information on how instructional strategies based on the use of interactive video materials work, what equipment is needed, and how to establish and maintain a worksite training program. The guide also describes the course components and program operations. Further information on the program as developed by the Wisconsin Foundation for Vocational, Technical and Adult Education, Inc. is provided in the appendix to the guide. (KC)
