This student manual is one in a series of individualized instructional materials for use under the supervision of an instructor. The self-contained manual was developed for persons training to become television camera operators. Each assignment has all the information needed, including a list of objectives that should be met and exercise questions that can help the students in meeting those objectives. Eight sections covering the following topics are included: introduction (using the manual, career opportunities, safety); television production; the television camera; using the television camera; scripts and rehearsals; location shooting; care and maintenance; and human relations in television productions.
